This week while getting some maintenance on my car, I learned about a local family who experienced an immense tragedy during this holiday season. When I heard the story I knew I wanted to help beyond just buying raffle tickets. After talking with the fundraiser organizer, I was able to donate several of my pieces to be included as prizes.
I really enjoyed selecting the pieces, grouping them together, designing marketing materials and even designing new packaging that would show off the jewelry on the prize table at the event.
The jewelry was a great hit at the event, with a few people coming up to repeatedly buy more tickets in hopes of getting them. It warmed my heart, seeing how much my art was appreciated and to see how my creations were beneficial to a family in need. That’s what I am here to do, to bring a little light and hope and joy to people’s lives, especially in their darkest moments.
If you liked the pieces that were at the raffle, but missed out on winning them, I have several similar pieces that you could claim as your own.
