Had a great New Years Eve thanks to Hannah d’Or’s crystal celebration (and son’s Animal Crossing). It was the first time the whole family has stayed up to welcome the new year. When I asked what my son wants for the new year, to make a wish like when he blows out his candles on his birthday cake, he said, “I don’t need a wish, I have everything I want already.” In his words, it made me “cry with goodness”.
While we are blessed with having everything we want, I have been limiting my self-expression. I was afraid to be my true self, in multiple aspects of my life, hiding behind busy-ness of work, motherhood, goals, fat, labels, and more in order to be who I thought everyone expected me to be. So for New Year’s I made a grid with the focused intent of having courage to be my true self. At the stroke of midnight it was activated with fulgurite, exhaling my intention into the universe and inhaling to receive the courage I asked for. It was beautiful, electrifying (not surprisingly since fulgurite is made when lightning strikes earth) and supportive to be virtually surrounded by people who not only accept me in all my power, glory and frailty but genuinely love, encourage and empower me. I am grateful for all!
The grid is made up of bloodstone (courage) and quartz (clearing) heart at the center of infinity of hematite (grounding) and labradorite (magic) while quartz (amplification) rests inside loops. Shining out from the center are quartz (sharing that courage with others) and citrine (express confidence as I share and receive abundance from doing so).
