Essential oil recipes I’ve used in my morning Chakra practices
I love to play around with different oil blends and synergies for balancing, awakening or calming my chakras. I’ve found it strange how I love most of these chakra oil blends and the few that I don’t enjoy the smell of are the energy centers I feel I need to focus more on supporting. That’s why I love using therapeutic grade essential oils. It’s not about the smell, its about the benefit the oils have on my physical and emotional well-being.
I apply my chakra oils during my morning meditation or affirmations to really enhance my experience.
If you are just starting out with essential oils, try not to use too many oils all at once. I recommend these single oils which you can apply for each corresponding chakra center.
If you are used to essential oils and are more adventurous with the number of species you use, try these recipes which are my favorites!

Colorful Roller Bottles for your Chakra essential oil blends
You can order colored roller bottles from Amazon. I use this set of six colored 10ml glass roller bottles myself (adding a 1 clear one from my stash.) As the set doesn’t have a red or orange, I use grey for Root Chakra, Pink for Sacral and then the additional clear bottle for Crown Chakra.
Don’t be lured in by the stone roller bottles! Essential oils are powerful; when mixed with organic materials like stones, gems or crystals, toxins may leech into the oil or change the chemical make up of the oils. (I thought they were totally awesome, so I purchased them and excitedly shared them with a client, a naturopathic doctor, who set me straight. If you want to use crystals and essential oils for your chakra practices, don’t try to be efficient—like I did—DON’T mix them together!)
