Loving What You’ve Got

Anyone else dance off the scale this morning and then throw a wink and blow a kiss to their awesome body in the bathroom mirror?

‘Cuz this girl did!
And the best part… you could do it too!

Because its not about actually having a perfect body. It’s about loving what you’ve got. Once you repair your relationship with your body, once you start treating her with love and respect, amazing transformations happen!

Do I have the most rockin’ bod ever?
Nope — still not comfortable in a bikini.

Do I still have weight to release?
Yep — 19 more pounds to go.

Do I love my body? Hells Yeah!

I’ve only got one body to get me through this life. And I have a BUNCH more things to accomplish and years to live in this life — so I have committed to taking care of my body better. I now treat food as fuel and my body now gets organic and minimally processed stuff — unlike my actual car which gets the cheap stuff.

Though I don’t deprive myself of things that I like or say “I can’t have that”. I make my own choices about the nutrients that go in my one-use-only body and instead say “I won’t have that”. It’s amazingly empowering to make the choice and own it.
